When Serena Jones takes on the case of a forged Dali for her grandmother, she thinks it will be a typical case. And maybe, if she catches the theif, she’ll finally measure up to someone her grandmother could be proud of.
However, the deeper she dives into the fogergy and the many suspects around it, the less typical of a case it becomes–till even her life is on the line.

Quick Review:
A fun, different mystery with loveable characters and a good plot. A nice sunny day read.

What I liked:
Aunt Martha. Oh my word, Aunt Martha was a blast. Always in trouble, never setting a great example–she was so much fun. Harold, Serena/Aunt Martha’s cat, was also a ton of fun. Authors can have such fun with cats. I also loved the word of the day and the way Sandra Orchard worked it into the story. 😀
What I didn’t like:
The “maybe” triangle. It wasn’t love; at least, not on Serena’s end. Um… I don’t think. I really couldn’t tell. First, Serena’s friends with one and partners with another, then she might like one, then the other… it was annoying. This is the reason I am giving it three stars instead of four.
Who I would recommend this to:
Mystery lovers, art lovers, and cat lovers. And anyone else who loves to read light hearted, but twisting stories.
