“Be kind. For everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle.”

Life is hard. So hard. And we were not meant to live it alone. Man was made for community and for deep intimate friendships. That’s who we are as humans.


But precisely because life is so hard,  we tend to hide ourselves from our one God-given consolation. Instead of sharing our pain with the friends and family whom we are supposed to be in constant communion with, we isolate ourselves from them.

We hide our pain because we feel like they will not understand. No one understands. No one has felt this pain before. THIS pain is all MINE. Its almost like we become selfish of our own hurt…to scared to let go of the very thing that is tearing us apart. So we shut the world out.

If you learn to look for it, its pretty easy to spot people who are trying to hide their pain…
